Logo Design Brief

We need a logo designed for a new company based in the Midwest (USA) called "Specialty Valuation Group". We would like the abbreviation included in the design... "SVG". The company focuses on appraising special-use commercial properties, such as auto dealerships, funeral homes, schools, churches, restaurants, recreational buildings (movie theaters, bowling alleys, etc) and large mixed-use buildings (multifamily/office/retail). We have been thinking of using the colors white/black/light blue, but are open to other ideas as our final company colors have not yet been decided on. The logo should give the viewer the impression that this is a professional company as many of our clients are the area's largest banks, developers and attorneys. A very "corporate" logo is needed. Thank you!
