Logo Design Brief
We need a logo designed for a website portal. Due to the company name, we want to include elements of a beehive shape cell within the designed content. Something I came up with is attached, but you can go in a completely different direction if you have a better idea.
I don't want to see yellow in the design as it is shown, but more of a gold possibly if the gold/black combination is used. I'm open to other color options.
For letter font, I prefer something that is bold and strong - no cursive. Nothing that is too thin.
Logo alternatives are needed for web header as well as a horizontal line option for smaller spaces. Option should either work on both a dark or a white background, or provide color invert that will allow for dark or white background.
About the company: Life Style Hive is a branded content platform for companies to share with their followers who they are through written, graphic and video storied posted content. Content goes beyond a typical superficial blog format and instead concentrates on creating deeper connections and engagement through educational stories on the lifestyle and characteristics of the brand. Ultimately we create lifelong connections by creating and sharing content the brand's targeted consumer wants to know about, and that just happens to also tie in to the brand's essence and life blood.

The reason by the way that it is a hive, is that each brand has it's own 'cell' in the hive - so that if you were to look at the entire hive, it would be made up of hundreds of different brands who had a stand alone platform within the overall 'hive' but also was connected through personality type. - Two color minimums. I like gold/black (not yellow) but open to other ideas especially as I don't want this to seem like a beehive.
Nice to have
- Incorporate the feel of a bee hive - no bees! It's the hexagonal shape and the fact that each hexagon is a different brand that makes up an overall platform of content.
Should not have
- Cursive girly fonts of any kind.
