Logo Design Brief
We need a logo design for a new ad agency based in Brussels and Amsterdam called Native Nation. We are also going to launch a new platform where brands can be linked with social media influencers and creators (photographers, illustrators, skaters, snowboarders, writers, dancers, directors, Vine artists, Snapchatters etc). It's not a market place, because we won't connect influencers and creators directly with brands. Within our agency we're going to develop the creative campaigns for the brands together with the creators.
The creative agency (and platform) is named Native Nation because:
- of the native format of our ads - our bread & butter will be social media campaigns on Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and Facebook, which all have native ad formats
- we will be linking brands to digital natives
So please do mind it has nothing whatsoever to do with Native Americans, even if we love that community :)
Our platform will be B2C site, as we will have influencers & creators connect to it through their social media accounts. Logo and colors should be attractive to millenials and the Y generation (let's say people up to 35 years old).

Must have
- The logo has to be formatted in a way we can easily use it on our own social media profiles as our avatar (profile pic). So it should be really eyecatching when posting on Twitter and Instagram and stand out from the crowd, yet still be very legible.
- NN as short for Native Nation is the obvious way to go.
Nice to have
- We like the idea of integrating a roman III in the NN logo. There's plenty of research showing you can influence up to 3 degrees on social media (ie you can reach the friends of your own friends through a post).
Should not have
- It shouldn't be too flashy or bright, as it's both the logo of our platform and business, where we need to integrate the logo on our Keynote / Powerpoint decks.
- It needs to appeal both youngsters as professional marketeers in their 30s.
- We don't want to have the sole focus on influencers either, as we will deliver a much broader palet of social media services.
