Logo Design Brief

I am the family pastor for a church called Skyline in Oklahoma City. I need a logo for a ministry to families. Being a sports fanatic, I have always linked the idea of having a "home field advantage" in sports with the home field advantage we have with our children. So often we, as parents, allow everyone else to raise our children when we are, and should be, the spiritual leaders of our families. This logo will be the brand for all of the events, resources, classes, etc...
The logo, I hope, will reflect the family as well as a "home field" in sports.

I would love to have the logo tie into a sports theme.  Maybe a simple house like structure that's on a football field or something.  


Here is a sample idea of the house logo.  Maybe the field is like the circle around the house.
