Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for our company's re-branding effort. We have a successful company that has been developing custom web application software for over 15 years and we are re-branding around a more specific business model.

The business model is heavily influenced by the lean movement. We leverage our experience and software resources to partner with entrepreneurs who are in the very early phases of creating their web products. We take care of all technological aspects of the product development for the entrepreneur in exchange for an equity stake and some initial investment in the product. We also consult the entrepreneur in many ways to help them get their company off the ground, including help with sales & marketing, support channels, networking with other individuals, getting grants, etc. We have a very good traffic record for successful technology projects over the history of our company and we are highly selective on the types of ventures and individuals that we partner with so that we can continue to have a high success rate.

The name of our new company is "VentureTech" which is of course short for Venture Technologies. A concept we'd like to see reflected in he logo is some form of harmony between the entrepreneurial/business side (venture) and the tech side (technology). We're fond of black and blue as far as color schemes but open to other ideas. Key values we have are: invest - we invest in people, technology, and processes.. growth - we help create new companies that grow and our employees constantly grow, learn - we focus on learning about the market and users for a product before building the product.
