Web Design Brief

My company develops booking software, Viki Booking, for the hourly booking of resources such as classes in a school or customer booking involving rooms in a spa. These bookings also involve the customers, staff, rooms and a lesson or treatment.

The main difference between this software and general calendar software such as Google calendar is that this Viki Booking allows resources such as people and rooms to be associated with the bookings. This is important for example in the case of a Spa to make sure the rooms are booked appropriately and to see the free times for the rooms. For a golf practice range the players much be booked to the tee spots where they practice golf.

I have tried to design the website myself, as a computer programmer- I am a bit "square" and not a designer, my first attempt is http://www.vikibooking.com/, my second attempt is at http://www.orsa-studio.com/vikibookingwebsite/
I am not happy with my designs as compared to the professional designs I see people can come up with here. The software must have the image of a professional software product in order to inspire the confidence of customers.

Am looking for a design which will be the most likely to give the customer the following feeling:
* Confident the product can do the job.
* Feel easy to want to try it, at least for the free trial.
* Its a professional software product and also a web based product, the user can login from the web.

Requirements

Must have

• Home page and inner page, any other pages up to you.
  
  Make a logo or use the image of the girl that I already have on the second design.
  
  Menu(s) for navigation.
  
  A language switcher for 3 languages, English, Chinese Traditional and Chinese Simplified. (Western, Hong Kong and Chinese mainland market are important).
  
  Space for a video introduction, it could be small and when the user clicks on it then it gets bigger then it won't take up too much space. Up to you.
  
  A space for the user to login and register a new account.
  
  Screenshots.
  
  I don't have any strong preferences, use your own ideas, if you look at all the other products you can get the basic idea from them.
  
  The total goal is to make a website which is going to lead to sales of the software product.
