Logo Design Brief

I have a logo that I would like to be updated. My company will eventually use the logo in t-shirts which I will most likely have the winner help me with as well. The target audience is moms of small children in sports. The company is called "Watchuplay" and the idea behind the logo is hands that make the heart sign for love, and with pinkies up it is sign language for play. "I love to watch you play" is something parents tell their little athletes and the shirts are a reminder. I'd like to see more creative freedom taken with the logo as it currently stands. I have added several retro logo examples that give an idea of the style I am into. I'm also making this guaranteed now in hopes that instead of just taking the existing logo and changing the fonts, that I will see some really unique and exciting new ideas.
