With the logo did you wish for it to be purely design image based to represent that you sell coffee? Or was you also looking for a typeface to be positioned also to accompany the design and form with the logo?

More high end please. The cafe itself is a shipping container, with high end decor and stylish.

What kind of logo did you want? Type based? Emblem? What's the significance of the name Magnet?

Magnet as it's a rectangle shipping container in steel grey that looks a bit like a magnet. Also the idea that it draws people to the cafe, like a magnet.
I had in mind the name 'Magnet' with a coffee cup or something that tells that it's a cafe, as the name itself doesn't describe what we do.

What are your thoughts on other symbolic imagery? Or are you simply looking to focus attention directly on the cup shape?

One of our locations will also be the beach, so logo needs to fit 'in town' and 'at the beach'
