Logo Design Brief
We are looking for a striking logo design for our Lisbon based company called Obsid Invest. Our business has stemmed from the growing local need for building rehabilitation, however our core purpose heading is to invest in ideas and design - real, virtual or conceptual!
Our name is a "play" between the Latin word Obsido (which along with other possible uses means Investors or Occupy...) and Obsidian (volcanic hard glass created from rapid lava cooling that creates sharp edges - commonly used for tools in early history).
We believe using the crystal/sharp like effects of Obsidian could work out into an interesting logo and we appreciate meaning(s) behind design intent. However, as an investment business it must communicate simplicity and comfort.
