Logo Design Brief

We are a school starting a new program which needs a logo to represent it. Our school colours are Orange and Purple but we also use black and white. We want a light house with MLH on it somewhere and we would also want our "star" included in it. Please refer to our website at www.perthmontessori.wa.edu.au

We can send you the "Star" if you require it and the current school logo if needed.

A Light House has as its purpose to shine:

a guiding light and provide a direction, a “way” to safety,

out as a protector,

a beacon for support and growth, and

a stable, reliable and continuous luminescence.

A Light House Keeper is;

always on the job,

reliable and vigilant,

a keen observer and recorder of events for future decision making,
a great communicator.

So it is with the Monte-Lite House. A program with a specific focus to prepare for the more rigorous demands, socially, emotionally and academically, of the advanced full day Monte-House program and as such is a lighter version.

A program that shines a guiding light - a direction for the child and family, illuminating the Montessori Way. A program that will protect the child from danger - providing a safe and secure environment and passage along their developmental journey.

• Must Combine Orange and Purple with light shining from the light house
  
  Dear everyone - please do not make the MLH large - it needs to be small and subtle like the little 3 to 4.5 year children it represents
  
  Also... please make sure the Star shoots up and not down.. thanks!

• Must not look like a religious symbol or a cross
