Logo Design Brief
We need a logo for a new research project funded by the European Research Council called 'Social Robots'. The project fuses social neuroscience (brain scans, etc) with human robot interaction to discover how long-term interaction with robots changes people's brains. We will be doing neuroscience research with adults, toddlers and the elderly, and while we are primiarly based in Wales, there is also an aspect of the project that takes place in Japan. A logo that incorporates brains and robots (and the project name, Social Robots) is required, and anything else that might make it appealing to people of all ages and cultures would be fabulous! I have now uploaded a quick mock up I made some months ago when the project was just getting started, and it's not quite what I want - I'd like to have brain(s) involved as well, and I'm guessing you brilliant and creative designers can do a better job than this. (also, I'm not tied to having the ERC logo in there) - but this is one idea I worked with in the past. I'm sure you brilliant designers can come up with something that's more slick and polished, though - and doing something completely different from this sketch is very welcome too!

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: I'm not seeing any designs I love yet. What I'd really like to see is a few reworkings of the design I uploaded - the one that has two robots and the text 'social robots' - I would like to see this same idea redrawn with robots who have visible brains, and who are looking at each other. I would like the logo to be colourful and fun. So far, nothing has grabbed my attention enough to trump the mock up design I made some months ago, but I know you fabulous professional designers can do better than my clip art design! So please work with that idea and I look forward to see what you come up with!
