Logo Design Brief
I'm an Australian chef born of Chinese heritage, looking for a personal logo for website, stationary, corporate image and photograph watermark. I'm also a journalist, photographer, author and TV personality. Looking for an inspirational logo that represents my personality. My personal slogan is "Embracing ancient cultures and the foods of life". The graphic does not necessarily have to include food. Just wanted to thank everyone for their efforts. Cooking, like graphic design, is a very creative process so I really do appreciate the time you've taken! Like all creative processes, things change. So I thought I'd update you on where the winning designers are taking this project:
- Drop the word 'chef' and use an icon to represent my culinary background
- Use bold and/or different fonts to contrast my first and last names
- Preferred colours are black and red (which help give an Asian feel)
- Some designers have added a 'star' or 'celebrity' element to convey my influence
- Preferred font is sans serif and should take up most of the space
- Some designers have added Asian elements in the design
- My new website is being built on the Safarica theme built by MEKS (go to http://demo.mekshq.com/?theme=safarica). Take a look at this theme to see how the logo will be incorporated (the logo space is long and narrow)
With only a few days to close, I thought everyone might appreciate this more fine tuned re-brief
