Looking for a 'Active Duty' kind of patch which can go on a Polo shirt for my field service team. The shirts will be red or black.
Our company is in the laser industry and the mission of the field service team is to install and maintain these laser systems. The team is small, highly specialized and operates worldwide. In order to build team spirit I'd like to distribute these patches.
The logo should ideally combine something identifiable as a laser or laser warning symbol. A globe or global map could be used to symbolize that we operate worldwide. We can't use the words 'active duty' in the logo but the logo should relay a similar message. Currently we like the phrases "Field Operative" or "Field
Ops." We also may include the group name, "Laser Division."
We like the idea of the shape being similar to a military patch. Right now we're thinking of a yellow for the background, similar to a laser warning sign.
Attached is a quick mock-up of something we thought might be a good starting point. We would like it to not be rectangular, and the Field service team replaced with one of the above phrases. Also, there is no globe in the attached. The logo should have an outline around it like a badge.
