Logo Design Brief

Hello,
I need a logo + business cards for my project and website: Art of Expression.fr (artofexpression.fr)

Art of Expression is a crossover between arts and (ways of) expressions by words, music, visual and also includes a category "wine & dine". I am a writer/translator/photographer and also want to interview passionate people about their Art and ways or motivation. More information is available on the website (legal must haves). The site is trilingual and some kind of magazine, but also serves as reference platform ... I am based in Nice, France, so the subline is meant in double sense: The Nice Way to Put It.

I need something stunning! I want it to be elegant, clean, but not cold/industrial, with passion, a bit artistic, with a feminine touch, a bit vague but very clear at the same time, cool and comfy, with a rhythm, a flow or with timeless beauty. Nice to look at and interesting, too. Attention to detail. Inviting. Respectful.

Well, yes, I might like it either to be minimalist or totally exaggerated/ extravagant, but I want to work with you to create something unique, so you can consider the above just as noise of the wind; I am open to your ideas (forget about the attached files, I had to upload something)

So, what is your Art of Expression?

Hey crowd..Thanks for your submissions so far. I am wondering if maybe you can also try something with a circle or a few circles.... or with letters intertwined, a bit more abstract or extravagant? Also try to play with letters, go mix an A and an E, or an E with an A, show the beginning and the end, the ongoing, let the letters turn into something new, an unknown form of an A for example (since it is the ART first) .... or an x for the eXpression.

You are allowed to go even farther: show passion or maybe even vanity! Let part of the remodelled A look like a wig or hair (because it is feminine.. you could do it in 70s style … and isn't hair a way of expression too?) ….. or let an E hugh the A? Do not be limited to my ideas or any business standards, I need your help and want you to create something extraordinary.

Art of Expression est le cross over entre l’art et façons d’expression par mots, musique, visuel y compris la catégorie "wine & dine". Je suis auteur/traductrice/photographe et cherche en outre faire des interviews avec des personnes passionnées sur leur Art, leur façon ou leur motivation. Plus d’info est disponible sur le site et dans les mentions légales/conditions d’utilisation. Le site est trilingue dans le style d’un magazine et en même temps une plate-forme de références… comme je suis basé sur Nice, France, le soutitre est « The Nice Way to Put It » (=la jolie façon de le dire/présenter).

J’ai besoin de quelque chose d’extraordinaire! Je voudrais bien que ça soit élégant, propre, mais pas froid/industriel, avec passion, un peu artistique, féminine, un peu vague, mais très clair/compréhensible en même temps, cool et agréable, avec un rythme, un mouvement ou une beauté intemporelle.Très agréable à regarder et intéressant. Attention au détail. Conviviale. Respectueux.

Bon, j’aimerais que ça soit ou minimaliste ou complètement exagéré, mais je veux créer quelque chose unique, alors vous pouvez considérer les informations comme chant du vent: j’attends vos idées ! (peu importe les screenshots joints c'est juste parce qu'il fallait télécharger quelque chose)

Peut-être vous pouvez également créer quelque chose avec un cercle ou plusieurs… ou des lettres vrillées, un peu abstrait ou extravagant? Jouez avec les mots/lettres, mélangez le A et le E, ou le E et la A, montrez le début et la fin, la continuation, laissez les lettres devenir quelque chose toute neuve, une nouvelle A par exemple (comme c’est l’Art d’abord)… ou un X pour eXpression.

Vous avez le droit d’aller encore plus loin : montrez la passion ou même la vanité! Donnez à la partie de la A un relooking en tant que cheveux ou perruque (c’est féminine.. essayez le style des années 70.. les cheveux aussi sont un moyen de l’expression, non?) … ou laissez la E sauter sur la A et embrasser la A ? Ne soyez pas limité par mes idées ou des standards, j’ai besoin de votre aide et vous demande de créer quelque chose d’extraordinaire.

• My name is Amber, I am a 70s, optimist and based in Nice on the French Riviera where the sun is shining, so maybe it would be nice to have something with golden / glow / glittering / sun colours..?

Should not have

• technical / industrial touch
• too many colours
