explain please, what means it has nothing to do with letter Q??? what is the text you need in the logo and what u looking for?
I was wondering the weight the brief outline should carry during the development of your logo: there was a question about the significance of the letter Q, as there was a suggestion in the brief, that Designers should focus on the letter Q. There was a subsequent (Client) comment/reply that 'it has nothing to do with the letter Q.'
If the focus on the Q is merely a device to determine whether a designer might effect a logo that is single initial-friendly, rather than a word mark, character mark, logo mark, etc... It would serve the project to disclose clarity in order that at least a few competent Designers might avoid stylizing a specific letter geometry in order to produce an effective effort, rather than simply providing font variation in order to best suit the goal of the Hotel and Resort chain.
There is yet time enough for revising our collective efforts, to better align this project to your needs.
Please understand in all fairness; while a few Designers actually respect the privacy and prerogative of the Clients (who are not bound to disclose their actual company names), the brief was distinct with simple direction. There are also Designers who might view the comments prior to submitting a design (oftentimes there is a kernel of valuable data disclosed that was not mentioned in the initial brief). It is safe to assume there is at least a handful of competent and able Designers who would simply appreciate the opportunity to avoid any ambiguity (brief vs. the final application) that will not disqualify our potential submissions (that strictly adhered to the original brief parameter). We also understand the Comment section provides ancillary venue for clarity and direction, separate but not exclusive to the original brief... which is always appreciated.
If a design might work for your final application, please provide a just opportunity for final consideration, then revision at the Design Handover. Regards
