Logo Design Brief

Logo for our New Orleans retreat. Will need this for a door sign and various logo items. Suggestion of a relaxed, welcoming, modern bar atmosphere. The colors I've picked are in the apt which has a modern, industrial design. I'd like to see Decatur like the typical New Orleans street sign look but I'm not committed to that. Any design suggestions are interesting to me.

Requirements

Must have

• Modern New Orleans flair (whatever that might mean!). Colors I chose are just optional. I'm open to most colors.

Nice to have

• Maybe "Est. 2013"? Not absolutely necessary to have that. Sorry for the vague input! That's why I need you guys!
• It really helps when the designer shows the design as an actual sign! I've liked several designs when I can see them as signs other than just the flat design.

Should not have

• No black and gold colors. (New Orleans Saints football colors). Please don't use the initials KD or KOD
