Book Cover Design Brief

At ANUedge (www.anuedge.com) we deliver consultancy services based on world-class research and expertise at Australia's national university. We produce many proposals, informal reports and contracts with a simple cover page (see attached example) but occasionally we produce a more formal document that will be delivered to clients in hard copy, displayed on reception tables and generally needs to look more like a professionally produced book than a simple report.

We are looking to develop a front and back cover layer that can be overlaid upon a photographic image. The image will be different to suit each report so the cover should work with a variety of photos. The ANUedge website (anuedge.com) provides a good indication of our corporate style.

Requirements

Must have

• • Front and back A4 cover design
  • Please provide 2 formats - landscape and portrait versions
  • Provided in Adobe Illustrator (.ai) format
  • ANUedge logo and Report Title/Subtitle on the front and editable (see attached)
  • Blurb, Disclaimer and Contact Details on back (see attached)
  • Corporate fonts attached
  • Adhere to overall ANUedge style (per the existing template, logo, colour scheme, and style guide (attached) and website)
  • It should work with any type of photograph we may want to include (please provide some examples of photos from internet that work well as a demonstration)
  • We are open to colour filters, transparency, etc. applied to images to suit template if necessary
