Logo Design Brief

Logo for use on packaging and letterhead. Classy branding, gold logo, mainly to be printed on BLACK boxes, but also able to print gold on white/cream paper. Also will be used in header on website. Thinking of a crest or seal or garland style. The boxes will contain a hardback book, a CD or memory stick (that will also use the logo) and a printed newsletter. The branding will also be used on the tissue paper to wrap around the inside of the package. Strong, confident branding with a high end feel.

Requirements

Must have

• must stand out on a black or navy background, preferably gold or silver in colour. Elegant and strong design that screams quality premium price. Must be able to be used to physically print onto A4 sized black gift boxes and webpages and also use on company white paper (we might need a negative image for that??).

Nice to have

• would like to see designs based on the text itself, possibly incorporating a book in someway but FIRST PRIORITY will be given to designs based on some sort of crest, medal, shield or garland with the wording imaginatively used (The Entrepreneurs Book Club). Can Use the initials EBC as well as the full name, but the full name must be present somewhere. have included a couple of samples of designs styles that I think are attractive and give a similar impression to the simple, classy look that I'm trying to get.

Should not have

• old fashioned or difficult to read fonts. Old world type of feeling. Something that won't look good blown up for A4 printing on packaging. Multiple colours. Single colour or two colours at most.
