Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for a new company that will be working in the entertainment laser space training people to use the kinds of laser products you see at festivals, nightclubs and on TV. Our brand requires a modern, clean look because while much of our training and consulting is highly creative, it is also based around very serious principles of audience safety and legal compliance. We will frequently interact with state and federal regulatory agencies, and so the brand must convey professionalism and trustworthiness, while not being overly formal and corporate. We offer creative solutions in a dynamic and highly visual industry, that prizes experience and trustworthiness. It's a challenging brief, and I have no specific constraints for color, font, etc. The only major requirement is that we need it to show well against both light and dark backgrounds,

Requirements

Must have

• The design must work on both light and dark backgrounds, or be able to have a version for each. It must be professional - Comic Sans MS is the exact opposite of what is needed here. It must also be modern, with crisp clean lines - we are working in a high tech field.

Nice to have

• I would like it if the logo could plan on the idea of light, laser, the color spectrum, etc. This is dififuclt to do when retaining the professional look I need, and I don't want it to just be a big rainbow, so this is not required.
