Logo Design Brief

We need a logo designed for a fun, family-friendly attraction opening this Christmas. The attraction is called 'Gingerbread Junction', a place where families gather to decorate gingerbread with icing and candy. Gingerbread Decorating is a family holiday tradition in the USA and the logo should reflect this. We would definitely like a gingerbread man and candy featured in the logo. I like the idea of having the gingerbread man in a train engineers hat (not essential, but may be nice), and we are OK if a gingerbread train is incorporated into the logo but again, this is NOT essential. All 'clip art' looking logos will be rejected immediately. I have uploaded a former logo we used so you can see an example of what we are trying to improve.
