Logo Design Brief

A nightclub and hospitality conglomerate, owning multiple nightclubs, pubs and real estate.
looking for a new and sophisticated logo. Colour scheme of non vibrant colors, eg black and white, grey and even gold (as long as it's not mostly gold).
Open to all sorts of designs however must be a respectable logo.
Prefer something that stands out but does not scream at you or repulse you.
Something that could be put on a letterhead or on a business card.
Given the industry that we're in it is cut throat a logo is important and comment on the company itself
