Logo Design Brief

The name of the company is Ironwood Carpentry and Joinery. We are based in the new forest in England and are looking for a professional looking logo that can be used throughout the company, we primarily undertake construction and renovation type work but will also require the logo to be used as a branding mark on our bespoke furniture and products. The logo will be used on uniforms, letter heads, website and business cards.

Requirements

Must have

• I would like the main part of the logo to have Ironwood in it but would also maybe like to see the words "carpentry and joinery" underneath somehow. I am also liking the logos which contain some type of pictorial reference back to carpentry such as hammers, saws, chisels, etc. I would also like to see at least 2 colours in the logo.

Nice to have

• I am liking the logos with the more earthy colours i.e browns, greens, oranges, etc.

Should not have

• I do not like the colours red, yellow, blue for this type of logo as I don't feel it represents the type of business. I also prefer for the logo to not contain very detailed pictures as this will be difficult to get embroidered on uniforms.
