Purpose
Through the personal and professional development of our members, assist the Australian Indigenous media sector to fight disadvantage, ignorance and racism through the presentation of facts and ideas.
• To provide the world with a window into the oldest continuing culture on Earth.
• To create jobs in communities, and meeting places for our people to gather.
• To provide pipelines and stages for Indigenous talent, be they musicians, writers, comedians, students, story tellers or film makers.

WHAT WE NEED
We need a Logo design that is more than just a typeface when viewed it should have presence & gravitas giving us strong identity across our industry.
It should be comprised of simple elements that can be easily reproduced on all printed materials, web & social media, engraved and embroidered.
Its primary use will be on printed materials, Web and social media
and will appear alongside national industry & government logos.
We need two layouts one that just uses "AICA" and another that also incorporates the full title "Australian Indigenous Communications Association".
There should also be a layout that includes our tagline "Giving Voice to Indigenous Australia"
INSPIRATION & CONSIDERATIONS
This logo is for a body that represents all Australian Indigenous Media including Film, TV, Radio, Web, Print and we want our logo to convey this.
Designers should draw inspiration from earthy Australian ochre pallets and Aboriginal artworks.
The images in the attachment are examples of the pallet as well as the simplicity and versatility of the design required.
