Logo Design Brief
Beyond Bags is an online retailer specialising in ethically-produced environmentally friendly vegan (ie non-animal material, cruelty-free) high quality handbags. The target audience is vegans worldwide and other ethically-conscious consumers. I would like the logo to combine high quality and sophistication with an element of love of nature and spirituality. The organisation is a start-up, with plans to grow into other ethical and vegan-friendly business areas. The intention is over time to apply the word Beyond to other vegan products, and hence create a vegan lifestyle brand. Hence the logo should focus on the word Beyond, with it being possible to exchange the word Bags for other words, to accommodate extension of the brand to other products, over time.
Target Market(s)
animal-loving, vegan and environmentally conscious consumers, primarily women, potentially global, with the main demographic between 25 and 45 years old

Requirements
Must have
- Logo should be cool and sophisticated, whist making an ethical statement. Emphasize nature without being sentimental. Should emphasize natural colours, but not be wholly in shades of green, for example.
Nice to have
- Main idea is for the word Beyond to be a word and image that can be placed alongside the word Bags, which would be more like text, and so could be replaced more easily, assuming follow-on products. The focus should be on the word Beyond, a bit like the Virgin group of companies, there is a unifying brand, with the word Virgin in the specific script of the red flag-like device, that gets attached to each business area.
Should not have
- Should not be overtly hippie, flowery, ethnic etc.
- Some responses have focused on the symmetry in having two words both starting with B. This is not what I am looking for. Bear in mind that I plan to expand the brand to other products, which may be appealing to vegans, which would not start with the letter B. I am not keen either on capital letters for the Beyond, this feels to me too aggressive and not welcoming.
