Logo Design Brief

Looking to have logo designed for new food business. Our first product is "ice cream". Ideally we'd also have a swirl-topped character as part of the logo. One idea the team has liked is using the "O"s in Honeymoon as crescent moons and having a star to the upper left to indicate we're from California.
