Logo Design Brief

Think Tank Design is a production design company specialising in broadcast set design as well as providing art department & art direction services within the advertising industry.
The concept we would like developed is an illustration of a vintage dive helmet based on a classic woodcut/scratchboard style, with possibly a starburst effect behind image.
A 3/4 to side angle profile of the helmet (as image provided) is preferred over a front on view.
The words Think Tank Design will need to be incorporated into the design.
We prefer serif &/or calligraphic fonts over sans, (although we are open to options) and the type will be the less dominant element in the logo. I have uploaded afew layout/type ideas.
The colours will be black and orange or copper/gold tones.

Target Market(s)

We provide design and production services to the broadcast and advertising industries. This could be designing and constructing a sports set for a TV show or sourcing or making props for ad campaigns. The dive helmet is a strong visual image that has connotations of strength, design style and a hands on/industrial feel.

Nice to have

• We quite like the feel of the type-layout 1 & 2 examples that are attached.
• A classic simple vintage feel (if that makes sense)...

Should not have

• Not too cartoony more of a classic etched feel or industrial vintage look.
