Logo Design Brief

Portland Guitar Academy is a new guitar school in Portland Oregon. We are looking to promote a serious but friendly image. Something playful but can still be taken seriously. I would like the full name "Portland Guitar Academy" to be readable in the logo. We are a serious guitar school who teaches students of all ages. We are not the most expensive, but also not cheap. I want the logo to make people feel like they are going to be in good professional trustworthy hands, but not afraid that it will be out of their price range.

Text based logos are fine, but I would also be okay with some sort of graphic, for example a guitar, guitar headstock, guitar pick, music notes, etc.

Bright colors are fine as long as it doesn't look too kindergarteny.
