You mentioned that you're already have a font / word mark for the logo.
Could you please upload it? It's beneficial that the icon and word mark compliment each other when the are being used together.

Several designers asked me to upload the font we had decided on so they could better match the logo or icon to the font. I have uploaded a PDF file that shows the font as well as the logo we had intended to use...you can see the logo was a simple circle with an R in it..unfortunately a very similar logo is already used by another apparel brand so that is the reason for the contest...hope this helps!
