Logo Design Brief
I am looking for a name and a logo for a new research centre at the University of NSW, Sydney Australia. The official title is the "NHMRC Centre for Research Excellence in Traumatic Brain Injury Psychosocial Rehabilitation". This is clearly a mouthful and the acronym is unpronounceable.
We would prefer a simple, meaningful word or phrase (like "Beyond Blue" the name of an organisation for treating depression in Australia). Our Centre has the brief to improve the lives of people who have suffered a brain injury- such as from a motor vehicle accident. The focus is on improving social functioning. So we are wanting a positive name and image that reflects moving forward from the injury. It is also important that the Centre is seen as highly professional.
I would prefer the logo to be simple and eye catching with strong colour and to include the name of the centre. For example, I like the "Brain Sciences" logo at UNSW which can be seen on the top RHS of the following PDF http://www.brainsciences.unsw.edu.au/BrainSciWeb.nsf/resources/Strategy/$file/Strategy+and+Direction+2009_2014.pdf
Please note that UNSW should not be part of the name
