Logo Design Brief

We need a new logo for "Shobini". In Bengali, this means "Adorn". The concept for Shobini is that Southwestern Native American, contemporary and modern simplicity, as well traditional designs from India can seamlessly complement each other to accent any look, casual or formal. Shobini currently has a presence on Etsy, and we require a rebranding of the logo prior to the launch of our handloom cotton & silk scarves, and pure pashmina wool shawls. Seeking a modern design honoring the timelessness and ancient beauty in the cultures. Floral, paisley, organic in nature.

Requirements

Must have

• Some reference to East Indian motifs. Floral, paisley, organic in nature.
• I live in Santa Fe, NM where there is a global fusion of Asian, African, South American, and Native American design. Please see www.etsy.com/shop/shobini for current listings.

Nice to have

• Bengali fonts. Modern but organic lines. The products are all handmade, either one of a kind or handloomed. These products are for consumers that value the beauty of artisans, natural textiles, and natural stones and metals made with quality findings.

Should not have

• Move away from the current font design. The Bengali text is fine but I don't care for the other font.
• Never really happy with the current paisley either, but just needed something to get started. Printed on Kraft paper which ended up being too dark. I loved the idea of a natural fiber on business card but it turned out very dark (see attached)
