Logo Design Brief

We are looking for a more modern re-design of our firm logo, without losing recognition of our current brand. We ONLY want the firm name (Pearl Law Group), and not any URL or tagline. We also want some kind of design element in the logo, with the ability to render in black, white and our official blue color: hex #006ba7. The design should communicate: corporate, but not stuffy; innovation; technology. We work with startups and established businesses, largely in the San Francisco Bay Area, and are far from a typical law firm of suits and law books. We help employees of those businesses get visas and resident status in the US and worldwide. No globes or iconographic designs (no lightbulbs!)
