Label Design Brief

We need a label and an icon/logo for "DC Wine Co." - a fun, young, hip, modern, small barrel-lot, California Central Coast winery. We will be launching one serious brand (minimal color, serious font), and one fun label. We're open to both.

We'd would like something that looks sketched with an ink pen.

Label/Brand should:
1. Maintain a 3.98(w) x 4.125(h) inch front and back label aspect ratios.
2. The label name (Dreamcôte) and logo should be large and legible from across the room. LARGE FONT.

Target Market(s)

26-38yr old, educated, wine drinking adults. Unisex product - although women remain in the lead for purchasing..

Requirements

Must have

• On the front label:
  1. Must have a logo or icon of some sort. Using Letters: DC (Wine Co. Optional)
  2. Should showcase that we are a young/hip company. Look at the Banshee logo we've attached..
  3. Must contain or have a placeholder for the following: Alcohol/Varietal/Year/Region. (Pick up a bottle of wine if you're curious to see what industry standards are - government requires that Alcohol/Varietal/Year/Region be listed all together on one label - either front or back. We're choosing front.).
  
  Front Label:
  a. "Alc. 13.6% by vol."
  b. "Clarksburg"
  c. "Chenin Blanc"
  d. "2012"
  e. Create brand logo or icon to Distinguish the Brand from others
  
  Back Label:
  One back label will be used for all wines.
  Measurements: 3.7466(w) x 4.109 (h)

• No need to provide capsule art. We are planning to place a dollop of wax where the capsule would be - in black or a color that would compliment the label...
  
  No out of date designs please. Something modern, and timeless at the same time (can that be achieved?)
