Hello, please explain, the term "varsity" means the emblem is for sports events? Or it is just a graphic symbol for the university as a whole, distinct from the logo? In what context will it be used?

the term varsity here refers to the university. the emblem is not for a sports event. it is for generic use on merchandises like tshirt when used as a badge, or produced as a brooch etc... it is not a replacement of our logo.
