Logo Design Brief

SWEEP, the "Solid Waste Environmental Excellence Protocol", is looking for a strong, dynamic logo that conveys trust, rigor and innovation. Dominant colors should be warm, given the preponderance of blues and greens in the space. Because it is certification program, the logo should eventually be adaptable to include a space to include one of four certification levels (like the LEED green building rating system). This project is being headed by the founder of the LEED system.

Must have

• The SWEEP acronym

Nice to have

• Works both in color & in black & white
• A nod to the conventional recycling arrow-circle (see attachments)
• Could (but does not have to) resemble trophy, medal or checkmark to indicate leadership/making the grade

Should not have

• Too much blue or green, which have been done to death with environmental logos. (Some is ok...)
• Purple
• Brooms/brushes
