Need a logo for a brewing project for Brewery in Monterey, CA. The Logo will be the face of the company and portray our towns historic roots. I am going for 1950s retro design; something you may see on a old oil can. Green and gold possibly (city's flag colors) something natural or rustic. And with Arroyo being the company name, maybe showing a small river cutting through two peaks (Arroyo Seco meaning dried river bed; a local natural staple). The text would be bold style yet soft on the eyes for a subtle friendly appeal.
Monterey County is famous for being the hometown of author John Steinbeck, being California's first city, home of great natural beauties. We would like to pay homage to the cities roots as an oil canning and fishing town.
Target Market(s)

Requirements
Must have
- Old school feel. I like the classic mid century canning look. 1950's design like what you would see in Fallout 4 haha. Need to portray Monterey's historical feel of being small fishing town with majestic scenery.
Nice to have
- Benevolent appeal and attitude. Natural colors of California surrounds. Pine green forest, golden hills, deep blue oceans, and white rivers, are natural elements I am going for. The 'Arroyo Seco' is a local natural monument. A river cutting through two mountain peak is something to think about and would be nice to have if it can fit in.
- Green (olive) and gold
- Black, white, with (touch of light) blue
- Biege and Maroon
- Grey and Gold
- Some color schemes I like
Should not have
- Nothing too bright or overly loud. Neither beingtoo tranquil or overly traditional. We are no SF hipsters or Santa Crus hippies. Monterey feel is happy, calm, mellow, and very much noticeable local.
- Okay, I know I made myself sound weird and not so professional but I just want to portray myself and hope my expressions can give out what I'm looking for. I am an engineer first brewer second and artist not so third. Good luck ;)
