We are looking for a Logo that will represent a new initiative to designate 3 Centers of Excellence in the Care and treatment of Children with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorders) and other complex disabilities.
A new enterprise – Centers of Excellence – has been created in New York State, including the three largest providers of residential services for children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and other complex disabilities, including but not limited to mental health issues, physical limitations, post-traumatic stress disorder as well as other cognitive and intellectual disorders. The agencies, the Developmental Disabilities Institute, Upstate Cerebral Palsy, and The Center for Discovery have partnered to establish three Centers of Excellence in the care and treatment of children with ASD and other complex disabilities. The Centers of Excellence will draw upon their collective expertise and knowledge to establish a baseline of metrics, treatment protocols, education resources, and applied research to advance the care of children with ASD and complex disabilities. Together, the Centers of Excellence will work to share their expertise with agencies all over New York State to identify best practices, nurture innovative clinical models, increase efficiency of service delivery, and set a standard of quality, coordinated care that will become the benchmark for all providers of supports and services for children with ASD and complex disabilities.
