Logo Design Brief
We would love a logo design for a brand new company based in Calgary, Alberta. We focus on connecting financiers with renewable energy projects in developing nations (mostly South America, but rapidly expanding globally). We are a team of renewable energy experts, engineers, project managers, investment managers.
For example, say a little town in Pakistan who isn't currently connected to the energy grid and has limited access to electricity wants to provide its citizens with electricity using renewable energy, including solar, wind, hydro, bio-mass (using waste for energy). They will connect with us at Green Capital Resources to get investors for the set-up of this energy system that will provide its citizens with power. We will also manage the project to get the energy system set up.
We want to see designs that foster trust/credibility since our primary audiences are municipalities, local governments, schools and large businesses who are looking for investment capital in their energy projects from global investors.
We are open to all sorts of creative ideas, but definitely want to convey a strong sense of professionalism.

Hey guys,
Thanks for all the submissions so far. I really like some of the elements. Here's a few updates:
-Not really looking for trees - it's a bit too eco
-I prefer the Sans Serif fonts with the more modern designs and the serif fonts with the more traditional designs
-Nothing too feminine, or soft looking; we want to look more bank-ish/financial
-I'm liking the greens, greys, blacks and blues, although I'm open to other ones
