Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for my company. Not happy with my current logo.

This is an electrical construction company. We do all sorts of electrical.

For Example..
- electric vehicle chargers
- residential and commercial electrical
- lighting
- generators
- solar
- underground work
- trouble shooting
- maintenance work
- emergency work


Company Name: Rogers Electric Co.
My current website is... www.rogersec.com
We are based out of the california, san francisco, bay area.

Im looking for a logo that has a SYMBOL & THE NAME that will look good on a letter head, t-shirt, website, business card, brochure. It doesn't necessarily have to be an electric symbol. Just a nice professional symbol that looks cool and people will remember.

WHAT I DONT WANT
- lighting bolt
- a drawing of the golden gate bridge
- light bulb
- no generic symbols like - or +
- light socket
- male electrical cord end


COLORS I PREFER
- something with nice color combinations. like: white, red, blue, black OR white, blue and florescent yellow, flat orange.
- NOT brown, purple, green, yellow

LOGO TEXT
Im not dead set on having the full name ROGERS ELECTRIC CO. in the logo. In order to keep it short, simple, easy to remember i would be willing to have just the letters "REC" in the logo.
