Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for my new company "MindSight", which will be producing a wearable electronic device for consumers that uses EEG technology to detect, measure and evaluate brain states and provides biofeedback, allowing users to optimize cognitive abilities and concentration and to improve their attention skills, emotional well-being and physical and mental performance. Once the logo is finalized, I'll be creating more collateral, from business cards to brochures to websites, so this is the start of a major assignment.

I've attached a sample logo which shows 2 font colors, contrasting the "in" and "sight" from the "M" and the "D" in order to connote "Mind", "Sight", "insight" and "MD". I'm open to color combinations.

Requirements

Must have

• The word MindSight with "in" and "Sight" in one color and "M" and "D" in a second color. Patterning or texturing the M and the D to look like brain tissue is an option, or perhaps one with brain tissue and the other with electronics/circuits
• One other thought is to texture the M and the D like brain tissue, or perhaps a separate icon with a stylized brain that includes texture like brain tissue blending organically with electronic circuits.

Nice to have

• It might be interesting to have a separate icon of a human brain with 2 hemispheres - perhaps 1 with the look of brain tissue and the other with electronics, with the 2 patterns fused in the middle? Feel free to get creative.

Should not have

• I'm looking for a horizontal/landscape representation as I think this is more versatile than portrait or even square
