New website needed for single-tutor sign-language 'Signalong' to promote services, provide contact details and build a brand.
Something To Say With Signs (SSWS) is a service offering tailored 'sign along' tutoring services to individuals, groups, charities, schools and hospitals/care facilities in the South East of England.
The tutoring service will teach 'Signalong' sign-language which is a type of sign-language particularly useful for disabled or learning disabled individuals.
Domain 'somethingtosaywithsigns.com' is purchased and website will be hosted on wordpress.
I can provide the login details to access the wordpress account if needed.
Landing page should be eye-catching with a new logo design for 'Something To Say With Signs' with a photograph (to be provided but please input 'holding images') of the correct sign for each of the words.
The tutor is fully endorsed by 'Signalong' and we would like to include their logo and a link to www.Signalong.org.uk somewhere on the site. Logo attached.
I would also like the attached images included as it shows the tutor hand's signing (in signalong) - "Something to Say With Signs". These images need to sit below each matching word in the landing page masthead/banner 'Something To Say With Signs'.
I have an idea as to website 'sections': about me, singalong, signalong training and contact me - I have already drafted the text for these (see attached) but I need help with integrating this copy into a nicely styled website. A picture gallery would also be a nice addition - I just need to collate some images and get permissions.
I also need the attached video (see recent update) embedded into the landing page - If possible I also need help editing this video to remove the 'turning on' and 'turning off' movements you can see at the start and end of the video clip.
The style should be warm and friendly, but professional.
I would like the design to be flexible enough to allow for changes to be made (text etc) easily by someone of very limited technical skill.
Happy to provide further details or answer questions as needed.
Thank you!
Updates
Hi all,I've decided not to have the welcome Masthead or 'logo' as SWSS but instead to be go for the longer 'Something to Say with Signs'. I would like space for a photograph of the correct-word signing hands under each word but don't have these photos finalised yet - hoping to have sorted in next 3 days. Holding photos under each word which I/you can easily change at a later date would be much appreciated.Light and happy colors please.I'm also attaching a short video clip to the project but need some help editing this so that the movement to turn the camera on (at the start) and off (at the end) is removed. If you cannot undertake video editing please let me know and I will do it myself. Added Monday, March 14, 2016
Photos of hands making the 'Something' 'To' 'Say' 'With' 'Signs' now uploaded for incorporation into welcome page/logo/masthead.Sorry not all backgrounds of photos exactly the same - please fix if possible. Added Monday, March 14, 2016
