I need a logo for my equestrian website, Equine Online, which has been online for 11 years.
The new logo needs to reflect the websites shift of direction towards being fully integrated with social media.
The logo should be pared back, cool style, but instantly recognisable as an equestrian site.
The logo needs to work well on all social media channels plus there should be the ability to use an element of it as an avatar. A good example of this is this site where the whole logo is rectangular but the square element works well as a favicon, avatar etc:

The current logo can be seen here:

Green and gold have been the traditional colours, I am open to examples of alternatives.
I still quite like the styalised horse, the text is dated though. I'm not hung up on any of the current style but the logo must include the brand name laid out as:
Equine Online
.net is optional
The site was established in 2002 and it would be good to incorporate that if possible but no big deal if that's restrictive or fussy.
Any questions please ask.
