Logo Design Brief

My goal is to create a logo for my business. I have never made one myself
but have used stock logos from vista print. I am 42 years old and have had
a dental practice for 11 years. I am looking for a refresher. I have
Officite running my website and have chosen a new background called
Bellevue if you would like to view the mobile and PC running version at
this site,

www.tbuchanandds.com is not the new updated background yet, but should be
there soon. Veiwing the site from the officiate gallery "bellevue" will
give you an idea.

I somewhat was working on a logo for myself in using an app icon with a
tooth in the middle as attached. I was using word and was limited to
design function and got frustrated. see attachment.
The other option was to use TB and incorporate it into my name as a logo as
seen on this website www.dentistryoh.com
I like that and the one color for simplicity. I am not looking for
something complicated but simple and up to date.
