Are we allowed to change the font or we leave it as it is?

I wonder (because im curious) if the first design you see make an influence in you to pick that particular logo as a winner, I see a lot of contest when the first submission is the winner of the contest, so you as a client I really want to know your point of view, that will be great to take note of that for future submissions. Not really. Although it was one of the first designs submitted, I am not sure it is the best until I see many other designs. I then go through and choose my favorite 10 designs, then I narrow down to best 5. I will then ask many others which they believe is best and often go with the consensus.
