Logo Design Brief

This will be a new logo design for a small appliance repair business. The business will be operating on the road and will have no defined shop front so this logo is aimed at vehicle advertising. The vehicle this business will be working out of will be a ford falcon utility (A common work vehicle in Australia). The focus here is on the advertising across the doors and work boxes that exist on back tray. Further, the logo will of course also be used for all marketing material etc including the website.
The main line of work will be repairing domestic ovens and domestic refrigeration along with commercial refrigeration and air conditioning.
The name of the business has just been registered. It’s called “Oven & Fridge Doctor”.
I anticipate that some sort of iconic image description for both ovens and refrigeration will be used. E.g. a red oven element on the left (could be half over the bonnet etc.) and stylized snowflakes on the right of the logo on the other side. I haven’t got the vehicle yet so I don’t know what color it will be… so the log needs to be adaptable for either a white, silver or dark colored car.
I anticipate a new mobile number so I would like the opportunity to be able to have the designer update the design for that number at a later date. The current number is 0408 30 32 34.
Under the logo and in a smaller font I would like the following (including the inverted commas).
“Servicing most domestic ovens, stoves and fridges in Bendigo”

The number can be a little bigger.

In summary, the car needs to really stand out so perhaps snowflakes over half the car and an oven element over the front… However, I am just throwing stuff out there. Don’t be afraid to wow me with a completely different concept I am very open to new ideas.

Must have

• Be readable/ have some uniqueness about it - images etc. Be adaptable to different background colors - I don't know the color of the car yet.
• EDIT....THERE SHOULD BE GOOD USE OF COLOUR
• SHOULD BE ORGANIC IN NATURE..
• THE LOGOS - OVEN/HOT AND FRIDGE/COLD SHOULD BE ABLE TO BE USED TO FILL EMPTY SPACES AROUND THE NAME&LOGO BOTH ON THE SIDE OF THE VEHICLE AND ACROSS THE BONNET..
• EDIT.... IT MUST BE BOLD. IT SHOULD BE ABLE TO BE READ BY A PERSON ON THE STREET AND IMMEDIATELY MAKE THE CONNECTION THAT THIS VEHICLE IS INVOLVED IN REPAIRING OVENS AND FRIDGES.

Nice to have

• See the brief but don't be limited by it - my idea was just an idea!
• Further. the design could be extended to cover the vehicle... eg extra snow flakes and oven icons/ stove elements. I want the car to be over the top as a oven repair icon in its own right!

Should not have

• should not be small writing.. should fill that door with writing and logo(s)
