Logo Design Brief
Altamaha Riverkeeper - we use the descriptive acronym ARK - needs a logo for multiple print and online applications, including website, stationary, t-shirts, hats, print pubs, etc. We are a 501c3 non profit that monitors water quality and investigates potential pollution and polluters in Georgia's largest watershed. The riverkeeper patrols the river but also has a srong education mission and we hold events designed to encourage recreational use. Three rivers (Oconee, Ocmulgee and Ohoopee) combine to become the Altamaha. We would like to see designs that make use of the acronym (ARK) and/or that communicate our commitment to clean water. See our website for more info http://www.altamahariverkeeper.org/

Requirements
Must have
- A logo that can be adapted to use in different online capacities so it reads well as a thumbnail and slo in larger applications that may incorporate logo text. As a color, we like green but would consider other colors or color combinations
Nice to have
- would be interested in either incorporating the text Altamaha Riverkeeper in a logo design that incorporated the outline of a wooden ark or that incorporates our acronym ARK in an ark design.
Should not have
- we have been using an image of the state of Georgia with an overlay of the rivers in the watershed. It looks like a state map with varicose veins. we are trying to get away from that.
