Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new carpet cleaning business in Seattle. It is a crowded market and we want to stand out from the crowd, but still instill confidence that we are an established, trustworthy company. We haven't selected PMS colors, but would like to see blue, black and/or silver incorporated. The logo design must be scalable across multiple applications - business cards, website, vehicles, flyers, etc. It also should be usable as one-color where applicable, including either a black version or a reversible option for ad-specialty items.
