Logo Design Brief

We are a commercial and residential property management firm based in Atlanta, GA. We need a logo that probably plays off the Beacon word. I want a logo that evokes the following:
1. Stable, knowledgeable, yet contemporary
2. Technology savvy, expertise
3. Creative, forward thinking, visionary
4. Consultative, reliable
5. Cutting edge
6. Exciting, approachable
See ebeacon.com as an example of a logo that I thought was interesting.
Avoid use of obvious Beacon imagery like lighthouses, flames that represent light or signal fires.

Must have

• Don't like "cute" designs. No charicatures. I like the Apple logo. Simple, elegant, speaks volumes. Since we are a "green" company, that color element might be include, though not the dominant color. I like blue, but submit anything that makes sense to you. We can always adjust color. I prefer an open design as opposed to something framed in a box. We had one logo built that I didn't like. The name Beacon was in a blue box, bordered in black, with a star above it. Not good.

• See attached logo developed earlier. Don't like blue box nor the image above the name. No designs like this should be submitted.
