Web Design Brief
We are looking to revisit our existing brand and website, with a view to updating both. Looking for concepts and designs for how the website might look, flow and feel. Current website is: www.convertworx.com.au
Scope and Deliverables: Concept design for the home page and one internal page.
We do not expect you to design all the pages and all the elements of the website at this stage.
This job is not for the full website design, but just for concepts that we can start with when we go into the full website design.
We would love to see a design feature based on our name, logo, or industry, which can run through banners and other collateral (twitter banner, ads on Google, corporate documents etc).
We want the brand to properly depict what we bring/deliver to businesses when consulting to them and this should extend to the colour scheme, logo, font (perhaps updated) and copy (which will be supplied).
Our brand should suitably communicate our ability, knowledge and extensive experience within the Cloud space.
It should express and evoke credibility, knowledge and understanding of the Cloud space, independence, gravitas, reliability, efficiency, trust, expertise, approachability, service delivery but be uncomplicated, practical and use plain speaking language.
Colours that reinforce this might include: Blues, blacks, silver, white, grey and our existing orange.
Website designs that we like or have referenced include:
Cloudease: http://cloudease.com.au/ - This has good information but looks a little amateur in it’s cartoon like design and colour scheme. Also, this seems to be aimed at clients more interested in price than design and what we are going for is a little more high end.
Cloudsherpas: https://www.cloudsherpas.com.au/ - This site has merit in its’ setup but little call to action on the home page, especially before the scroll line. I like the set up of the Case Studies page however I’d look to make it more prominent by having it set up 3 across rather than the 4 they have. Something such as this: https://www.vworkapp.com/case-studies
Segura: http://www.segura.com.au/#home4 - This page is a good one as far as selling services and information on the company. I quite like it.
TitanICT: http://www.titanict.com.au/ - While I don’t think is particularly creative, it does practically depict the services we offer in a fairly clear way and might be a bit of a basic (albeit dull) template to follow.
EMC: https://store.emc.com/us/Product-Family/EMC-Advisory-Services/EMC-Cloud-Advisory-Service/p/EMC-Services-Cloud-Advisory - This offers substantial information but is probably a little confusing although the roll-over drop down menus have merit.
MOR: http://www.mor.net.au/en/services/ - While this in not quite what we are looking for, the colour scheme gives it more gravitas and quality.
As another reference, this website and the way they present their case studies is also something we like, although I’d like them shown 3 up, side by side…. https://www.vworkapp.com/case-studies.
We have added a page layout and page purpose document.
