Logo Design Brief
We are a chauffeured ground transportation company. headquartered in San Diego for the past 22 years, Torrey Pines Transportation takes its name seriously, based on the Torrey Pines area of San Diego, and the Torrey Pines trees that grow only here. The tree element is optional.
We specialize in sedans and SUVs (town cars and executive vans...all black) to corporate executives (primarily in the life science and high tech segments); however, we do not want a car in our design.
Our customers (and our logo) should show partnership, sophistication, dependability, and class (but not ritzy or opulent). Elegant, however, works well.

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: These were interesting submissions, but we want more. It needs to be different, yet dignified. Something edgy (like a steering wheel) that can still capture the Torrey Pines brand is preferred. That could include the actual Torrey Pines tree, or not. The most important thing is to clearly establish the brand Torrey Pines-a 23 year old business that is always on time, providing executives excellent black & white service.
Thanks and Good Luck!

Requirements
Nice to have
- A tag line would be great...we have not yet developed one.
The wind-swept Torrey Pines tree has always been our logo-this has given us constancy, but is not required, if the new design supercedes it.
