Web Design Brief
Looking for a professional web site for my small country law firm.
I have a logo, chart, map, my photo, office photo, google analytics code, my drone video on YouTube, "Gig Harbor Lighthouse Flyover, also on www.gigharbor.guide", and text content. I am figuring out how to get those into digital forms.
First page needs a professional look. Here's where I am really hoping for your skill set.
Banner should be well designed so as to "ease" the viewer into confidence in my firm
Prefer the "white backround", less cluttered style of design.
My office has been in Key Center, main and only town of Key Peninsula, for 25 years, with emphasis on real property matters. Naturally land lasts longer than people, so estates, trusts and succession issues are relevant.
Local KP is the heart of southern Puget Sound, 75 miles of spectacular residential waterfront. We have the best land, waterfront, beaches and views in Puget Sound, however of course Seattle and the San Juan Islands could not be disregarded. It's that we have the most privacy, the best old growth Doug Firs, wildlife and low population density.
Puget Sound conditions are very specific for residential development.
One must consider:
Topography, hydro-geology, geomorphology, hill slope stability, soils must support septic systems, individual wells, prescriptive, express and implied easement issues, boundary lines don't always line up with surveys or expectations, or historic use, thus adverse possession abounds environmentally protected shorelines and wetlands, all challenges, but ohh.., the views and unique, world class waterfront.
Everyone who lives on Puget Sound is convinced they live in the most beautiful and spectacular place in the world, and we're all correct.
Target Market(s)
Members of the Tacoma-Pierce County Bar Association, and more distant counsel seeking consultation re: local conditions.
Also, I decided it was time to have a website, so a reference place to direct clients.
I like the professional sound of .lawyer vs. commercial sound of .com.

Requirements
Must have
- A strong first page with my photo and Puget Sound chart professionally created.
- A page I have ready with local links.
- A "How to find me page", which should have a map, and photo of my office, which I can make with the preloaded templates the host provides.
- A "This is what I do page", with some testimonials, which I can do via said templates or preferably by professionals.
Nice to have
- Clean look.
- Consistent looks to pages.
- First comment I got back talked about just designing one page, and if requires $340.00, so be it.
- Typical local sites have 4/5 pages, so perhaps a "fill-able" generic pages, I can build myself.
- Ideally, I would step into a working site I can edit myself.
- Not looking for e-commerce site, but the remainder of language the "Smart" professional used is unknown to me.
- Bit out of my element here, hoping for guidance.
Should not have
- Clutter
